How to Use 20/20 Select Vision
When you visit a participating Coast to Coast provider, you present them with
your identification card. They will be able to call the 20/20 Select administrator 24 hours a day,
7 days a week to obtain verification of benefits. After your examination and selection of eyewear,
the provider will be able to advise you of the cost of your portion of the purchase. After
completing a simple claim form that you leave with the vision center, you are done and free to go.
The vision center will bill the 20/20 Select administrator direct for your benefits.
If you use other than participating Coast to Coast providers, you will typically
have to pay for your purchase and then submit your claim directly to the administrator to receive
your benefit. Any vision center can call and obtain your benefits, however, vision centers that
are not participating Coast to Coast providers will probably not be willing to bill the benefit
portion of your purchase and will require you pay the entire bill at that time. You will
typically receive reimbursement within three weeks of mailing your claim form and receipt to the
administrator.
